Langly wasn't much of a sociable person. In fact, he was surprised himself that he was throwing a party.... A party that wasn't centered around Dungeons and Dragons. He hoped that the party would go smoothly as he really didn't know a lot of the people he had invited. Luckily, he was able to kick out his friends for the day, telling them that it was table top night. Hearing that was a good enough excuse for them to leave.

His big concern was how Crocker was going to react when he came over expecting cheese steaks. It was hard to predict how the older man would react to anything. He had been worried about Crocker for a while, and he hoped that the party would help lighten the mood for him. After all, he would be surrounded by all of his friends.

Now that the place was decorated and some music going on in the background, he just had to wait for the guests to arrive.

After Crocker is done, talking to whomever it was at the moment, he notices Gellert and looks rather glad to see him. There's a wide creepy smirk on his face, "I was wondering about you."

"Oh? Didn't you think I'd be here for this most important occasion?" He looks mildly amused.

Denzel approaches Gellert, and puts an arm around the other's shoulder, "More wondering where the heck you where hiding."

[darklycharming]

"You know me. I don't hide. I've merely been busy with Albus."

[crackpotcrocker]

"I know you don't -" Pause, his arm slides off of Gellert's shoulders, "Yes, I know." Looking away, not feeling discluded, expect he was. Things just wheren't the same. "Is he here as well?" Turning back to Gellert.

"He should be along shortly," Gellert goes to pick up the present he brought, holding it out to Crocker. "For you."

"Just surpised not seeing him attached to your hip."

Denzel takes the offered gift with his grimey fingernails, using those to unwrap it, "Spell books?"
There was some disappointment in his face, not in the matter of the gift, more in the matter he still hadn't managed to perfect that formula yet.

He notices the look. "I thought it might inspire you. Those aren't spells they teach at any school."
